Eric W. Reecher

Mr. Reecher's practice focuses primarily in the area of management-side labor and employment law, including both litigation and consultation. His practice also includes civil litigation and appeals, business consultation and transactions, corporate law, higher education law, housing authority law, personal injury, insurance defense, creditors' rights, and bankruptcy law.

Mr. Reecher received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and his law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. He practices in the state courts of both Tennessee and Virginia, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the Western District of Virginia, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the Western District of Virginia. Mr. Reecher also has experience before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and the state administrative agencies of Tennessee and Virginia.

He is involved in the Bristol community as a current member and the past-president of the Bristol Morning Rotary Club, and he serves on the Boards of Healing Hands Health Center, Inc. and Central Christian Church of Bristol, Inc. He previously served on the Boards of River's Way Outdoor Adventure Center and the Bristol Public Library Foundation.
